My last post about my children was one begging for help with their behavior. The thing is, it all comes out in the wash. They are adorable, loving, giving and just the cutest little punks I’ve ever seen. I spent a lot of time dressing up the little girls in my family. Hairbows, ribbons, frilly dresses, bracelets and rings, earrings…all before they were six or eight months old.
Boys are different. Their enjoyment and my enjoyment of them comes a bit differently than when I was busily shopping for the biggest, pinkest dress I could find. The boys, they like to dress up, my six year old has clothes that he refers to as church clothes but he also has clothes that are a bit dressier that he calls his “marrying clothes”.
Here’s a photo showing you just how much they really do enjoy getting all “done up”.
And as you can see, they enjoy getting all dressed up but they are also fun when they are rambling around in the Spiderman PJ’s or fresh out of the bath….a good ‘do is always on tap
It is so important to enjoy your children and remember in those times of frustration that there will always be times of joy that will more than make-up for the hair-pulling days.
Just look at that kid…that hair……did I mention tomorrow is barber shop day?
