Color Me Creative

Posted in Featured education

Ok, so all things being equal, I did my Black Friday shopping online.  And, I did it from the comfort of my warm home, in my pj’s without anyone brandishing a gun or picking a fight over products.  It’s definitely about what’s convenient for me in most cases.

Since we live what I consider to be far from civilization, heck me might as well leave on a plantation somewhere, going out into the dark of night to shop just isn’t appealing.  And, at the same time, cyber shopping is like a foreign language to my family.  They think I’m nuts.  Possibly I am nuts.

However, when they learned that I would be receiving a Ceiling Hung Christmas Tree this year from Amazon.com that I can unpack, have my husband mount it (somehow) and then pack it up and send it back, I jumped.  And, let me make sure you get this, I jumped really high!

I wanted this bad.  It should come in Wednesday and I will nag my husband until it is hanging nicely in the corner of the room, not taking up one square inch of floor space.  And, since it comes pre-lit, we may not even venture into the garage and fight the critters for our ornaments.  Just sit back and enjoy the uniqueness that is…….an upside down tree.

After the second year of my crazy pup Jesse attacking our Christmas tree every chance he got, I wired it to my sconce candle holders, and hung it on the wall. For the rest of his life, thirteen Christmases. It had some advatages, but it’s looks did suffer. Now, the upside down tree is a great idea. There is a lot of fun in uniqueness.I bet it’s gorgous.
