Kung Zhu Kid Reporter

When that box of stuff came to our house by the delivery man, I just knew it had to be for us. My mom wouldn’t let me open it. But, when we came home from my Nanny’s, she had opened it and planned out how we could have a Kung Zhu party.

Before we could actually have a party, we had to clean our rooms and mom had to clean the rest of the house. My dad helped. And, then, my brother took his Kung Zhu stuff and started playing in his room and I took mine. Mom wouldn’t let us have the rest of what was in the box.

She just said I am not suppose to be writing about the party. But we did have a good party and it was fun. It was the party that mom told me I was going to be a Kung Zhu Reporter.

I don’t even know what a reporter is. So, she told me to answer these questions that she was asking me.

(Inserting a parental note here, the child has no sense of brevity and I have no clue where he would have learned such a habit.)

1. How did you train to become a Kung Zhu battle hamster?

We got our big set of hamster gear and had a big party. I watched commercials on TV and then my friends showed me the best stuff.

2. Do you have a signature battle move? If so, what is it?

I don’t have a big battle move, I just like to play with them with them with my brother. We just try all kinds of fun stuff.

3. How does it feel when you transform into a battle warrior?

I am the best battle warrior in my house. There was some kids from my baseball team at our party and they knew a lot more about Kung Zhu and battle moves from me so I had to learn some stuff then. One of my friends has promised to teach me some more stuff when we can have a sleep over.

5. What is the best thing about being a Kung Zhu battle hamster?

My friends think I am cool because I had the Kung Zhu party and they got free stuff. The best part about being a reporter is because my friends all want to teach me new stuff. I think they are hoping I will have another party so they can get free stuff though.

7. What’s your favorite thing to eat?

I like sushi. That makes my friends and my nanny make faces and say gross a lot. But they have never tried it, it is really good.

8. Who is your best friend in the Zhu-niverse?

UH?

9. When you are not battling, what is your favorite thing to do?

Bakogun is my newest fun thing to do.

10. What do you like best about playing with kids?

I only play with my brother most of the time and he is little and he always gets his way. My friends at school are more fun because we can play the same things without anyone getting mad.

Here are some pictures we took this summer when we took our Kung Zhu hamsters on vacation. Some of the pictures are hard to see the hamster in but they are there, you just have to squint your eyes.
