Teacher Appreciation Week – Some Helpful Info!
Posted on May 5, 2010 08:38:52 PM
Did you know that Teacher Appreciation Week is already upon us? Box Tops for Education has an initiative created just for helping our teachers. It’s called My Class Essentials and is a free teacher registry. It allows K-8 teachers to create a list of all the supplies their classroom needs, similar to a baby or bridal registry. Parents, friends and supporters can then view and purchase items off of their registry for the classroom or make a cash donation to the registry. The classroom benefits by getting 100% of the purchase and the school benefits by getting a 2% donation on every purchase. Given your passion for raising smart and healthy kids, I thought this would be a great fit for Mom-E-Centric! I’ve gone ahead and included some more details below.
To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, My Class Essentials is offering FREE SHIPPING on all 6,000 plus classroom supplies through May 8. This is a great way to help teachers get the supplies they need to ensure their students receive a great learning environment. Some of our most popular items include:
· Flash cards – Learning the basics should be fun
· Markers & Pencils – Spring inspired crafts will look even brighter
· Free time reading books – Free reading time has moved outdoors
· Bulletin Boards – Teachers need space to display your kids’ artwork
Teacher Appreciation Week is the perfect time to thank our kids’ teachers. We hope you’ll join us in this amazing effort!
