The Beginning of a Beautiful Relationship

OfficeMax’s program A Day Made Better with Adopt-a-Classroom has inspired the folks in my are in a major way. For starters, there was the big party last week. And, since it was such a big deal, it will be known as the “kick off” party. Basically, the PTO provides snacks for the teachers once a month just to enhance teacher morale. And, so, naturally with the big prizes that I had for last month’s Teacher Snack Day, I couldn’t just leave them hanging with nothing but snacks for the month of October.

So, I’ve set about hunting a few prizes to be given away in next week on teacher Snack Day. I think it has turned into a great thing for our area and it is keeping our parents and school representatives on top of their game as far as realizing how needy our teachers are. Some of the stuff that I have acquired has been for the teachers personally and some of it for them to use in their classroom. And, the supplies in the box that have been donated since last month will be distributed based on need.
