The Upside Down Christmas Tree
I was fortunate enough to get a Christmas Tree from Amazon.com this year. And, it’s rather cute, I requested a bigger one but apparently, they are a hot ticket item because the 4 ft tree was the biggest they had. Here’s the photo’s as it has evolved in my house….
Please ignore the beauty that is my orange walls (the lesson here is that you should never pick out paint for your house during a specific holiday….like Halloween for instance!)
Ignore the beauty that is my husband’s drill too please….
Still no fluff to the tree, it was pre-lit, the husband did his part and left the rest for me…and I took the photo before commencing to work on the little gem
My children were none to please with the fact that Santa wouldn’t have time to attach the presents to the ceiling so we put up our big tree as well.
So, the glow of the night……….still no ornaments…..
The kiddo’s getting ready to leave for church..
The are quite cute eh?
And, finally 3 days before Christmas…we get a peeping Mickey (through my front door)
Alas, we have ornaments…….I used nothing but Mickey Mouse and glass ornaments on the upside down tree
The ladder has Santa and his reindeer climbing on it but the window is just to the left of the tree and it’s hard to get a good photo during the day…look for that tonight……..and a photo of the big tree…decked out with ornaments…comes later too….
For now, my all time favorite ornament….a ceramic Mickey Mouse head…

Love it! I had never heard of an upside down tree. What a fun concept. And I love the Santa climbing to it on the ladder. What a creative fam you have!

Wow! What a cool idea…The upside down Christmas tree is great for homes that have pets as my 2 pet dogs think they are outside when there is a tree indoors.

This is a great way of having a Christmas tree, especially if you are struggling for space. Its a really good idea.
