We are going to do the No School at my house this week

You heard that right. I’ve mentioned a ~~few times~~ that we lead very ritualistic lives. My kids go to bed early, they do everything basically the same. Since at least one of them has been staying with my mom 3 nights a week, we’ve even perfected the routine for that as well.

But, the kiddo is out all week. I broke down and let him go on the field trip although I couldn’t go. Honestly, the kid was screeching like a banshee because he wanted to go. His teacher said he was really good and watched the whole movie with eyes wide.

So, this week, we will read, because we always read and we always have, but we are throwing routines out the window, bedtime, bath time, dinner time, eh, who cares…it’s a week off.
